Unity

Hello! It's been almost a month, so let's update!

Maybe I spoke too soon. Witch Doctor Kaneko is still in the planning stages, so there isn't much I can reveal about it yet. And I'd rather reveal things down the road when I know they're going to happen, rather than get up false hopes and have to backtrack later on. So believe me, I'll reveal more details when the moment is right. It's just not now.

That said, there's one very important thing which I can mention. Witch Doctor Kaneko will be created using the Unity game engine. I feel extremely optimistic about this decision, because you can pretty much do anything you want in Unity, as long as you have the motivation. And believe me, I do!

To show you an example of Unity's power (and my own skill), I reproduced a very memorable scene from the first episode of Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Be warned, there are spoilers! You may view the video here!

I was able to program it in less than a week's time, so Unity has been very easy to get the hang of. I've continued messing around with Unity and made a very basic platformer engine, which I'm liking so far. I'll continue to be hard at work on both ideas and programming, and the best part is that I will be able to show some of these things off! Until then~
